WAM

I was flipping through my family's digital cable the other day, and I noticed that we no longer get the channel WAM. This is a huge shame, because this channel was like the precursor to The-N. Lots of amazingly cheesy tv shows, all from Canada or New Zealand.

When I was in middle school I used to watch one religiously called "The Tribe". It was from New Zealand, and was basically a mix of survivor and 28 days later. There was this virus that caused all the adults to die, and so it was a series about a bunch of kids living in a mall.

The one thing I never understood is why the sudden lack of adults forced them to start wearing weird clothes, make up and hair and caused them to break up into tribes with names like Moz, Technos, and Mallrats.

I've never felt so fangirl/geeky before in my whole life.

Sadly enough, according to wikipedia (which we all know is LAW) it was cancelled in 2003.
